FAQ

Questions companies ask before starting a pilot.

A practical guide to model coverage, pilot pricing, qualification, and first-workload selection.

Which Chinese AI models can ChinaAPI help evaluate?

Coverage can include GLM, Qwen, DeepSeek, Kimi, and MiniMax for LLM workloads, Qwen Image and Wan for image generation, and Seedance, Hailuo, and Kling for video generation, depending on availability, use case, and qualified usage volume.

Is ChinaAPI only for developers?

No. The first buyer is often a business owner, agency lead, product leader, marketing team, AI application company, or system integrator that needs lower-cost model access or creative production capacity.

How does pilot pricing work?

ChinaAPI starts by understanding the workload, current spend, expected monthly usage, target model family, and commercial timeline. Better rates usually require meaningful committed usage.

Why is pricing not published?

Rates depend on model family, workload shape, and volume commitment. A single public number would misprice most workloads, so qualified teams get a concrete quote for their specific usage instead.

Can companies test before committing?

Yes. Pilot access is designed for small-scope evaluation before expanding into volume-based pricing.

Are online card payments available?

Online card payments are currently unavailable. To add credits, request a redemption code through solution@chinaapi.ai, Telegram, or WhatsApp, then redeem it in the dashboard wallet.

Do we need a company or presence in China?

No. ChinaAPI provisions access for international teams. Integration happens over standard APIs from your existing infrastructure, with no local entity required.

Can Chinese models really reduce OpenAI or Claude API costs?

Often, for the right workloads. The savings come from routing suitable tasks to lower-cost model families rather than replacing every call at once, so each workload should be evaluated on its own.

Can we evaluate several models through one integration?

Yes. Pilots can be structured to compare model families side by side on the same workload, and the integration path is OpenAI-compatible, so switching models does not require rebuilding your stack.

What workloads are the best starting points?

For LLMs: RAG, customer support automation, SaaS inference, and internal tools. For creative teams: product videos, ad variants, social content concepts, and high-volume image or video iteration.

What information should we send first?

Company, country, current model stack, monthly AI spend, expected volume, target use case, preferred model families, and whether email, WhatsApp, or Telegram is best for follow-up.
